Vitendo4Africa Launches Kenya Medical Mission PDF Print E-mail

Kenyans in St Louis gathered yet again for another colorful event organized to celebrate Vitendo. This event brought together people from all works of lives and from different nationalities.  

For the last one year Vitendo4africa have held a series of events all geared towards empowering the community through various facets of the organization. Early this year the organization marked the launch of Vitendo Gateway Sacco whose membership has grown to nearly 100 members. At the begining of this Summer V4A launched Vitendo Kicking Angel Soccer program for kids 10yrs and below.

 Youth Unbound To Infinity is another program under Vitendo4africa focusing on Youth empowerment, leadership and  global engagement. These group of youg people organized the first historic Crazy Olympics event with the ultimate goal of creating health awareness and promoting diversity.  Over sixty people took advantage of free diabetic screeninng offered by Christian Hospital.

Rachael  Muteti, a young and uprising star took the stage with brave and confidence to recite bible verse and a poem.  Vitendo4africa is working with parents to assist young people and kids discover and explore their full potential at their early age. Simon Muraya, presindent and Founder member of Youth Unbound To Infinity, tlaked about mission and vision of the group.

 

Below is current situations at Kilimambogo and Kilgoris Hospital.  Next year in June Vitendo Medical Mission team is planing to offer free services in these two plances.  

 

A group of sixteen people have teamed up to organize Vitendo Medical Mission to Kenya next year in June. This group, under the leadership of Mr Wollace Wanduta has been collecting medical Equipments and supplies and purpose to ship them to Kenya by January next year.

 Vitendo Annuall Dinner is comming up on November 17th where the group hope to raise funds to support V4A programs.  Those who want to volunteer for 2013 Kenya Meical Mission can contact Vitendo Office at 314-252-0488 or email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
